THE 2024 LAMBORGHINI REVUELTO SPYDER IS THE BRAND'S MOST POWERFUL CONVERTIBLE

Lamborghini mostly turned its back on tradition when it brought forth the Urus super-SUV into the world in 2019. It was actually the second time the brand produced a utility vehicle as the LM002 came decades before.

Now, the new Lamborghini Revuelto has stunned the automotive world with its new plug-in hybrid powertrain, and it’s not the batteries and three motors that are surprising: it’s the fact that the naturally-aspirated V12 returns once more, helped along by the hybrid tech.

This Italian supercar even manages to make the Aventador look mild, though there is something that we can’t have for now – a spyder version.

Surely a 1001-hp, hybrid supercar drop-top would be the ultimate machine and luckily, HotCars artist Timothy Adry Emmanuel manages to craft something rather special in the form of this complete 3D render.

The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto Spyder Is Here

Most Lamborghinis come in traditional hardtop and convertible or roadster versions, aside from the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4. Even the Reventon, Sian and Veneno are all (or were) available as spyders or roadsters.

It would be logical that the Lamborghini Revuelto – successor to the Aventador – also came later as a drop-top, but for now there is no Revuelto spyder confirmed.

Convertibles are any car with a folding or retractable roof, whereas spyders and roadsters are also drop-tops though the terms are more synonymous with two-seat, two-door sports cars.

Timothy's render model essentially takes the Revuelto’s svelte design and makes it a spyder, or roadster, but there’s a lot more to the render than a missing top panel.

So here we have a roadster, with a removable roof, and the rest of the silhouette remains the same, which is no bad thing, as the open cabin suits the overall shape.

How Much Is The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto?

It is also lowered, until the skirts and front all but touch the ground. Up front there is a new splitter arrangement with side fins, and new cowls surround the twin bubbles in the grill area, one of which hides the radar sensor. Also of note are new wheels with an interesting design.

We can only speculate that powering this hypothetical machine would be the same 6.5-liter V12 and 3 electric motors with 1001 hp and all-wheel-drive.

The name Revuelto is Spanish and means mixed-up, it is also the name for a national dish similar to scrambled eggs. Timothy’s render isn’t likely to come to fruition soon, so for now the standard Revuelto is the only option, and you will need at least $600,000 to get one – the only catch is that supposedly the production schedule is full for at least two years.

Among cheaper options would be the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, an affordable Lamborghini at an average of $115,000 at auction. Just don’t expect the up-keep to also be reasonable.
